Real Estate Releases New Track "Talking Backwards" + tour dates

With Matt Mondanile engaged in his Ducktails project, and Alex Bleeker writing songs for his band Alex Bleeker and the Freaks, it seemed as though Real Estate had moved on and had gone their separate ways, never to make music together again. But finally, this year brought a new release for the group from Ridgewood, New Jersey. Real Estate recently posted their new song "Talking Backwards" and news of their new album Atlas being released on March 4th (March 3rd UK).

The song "Talking Backwards" stays true to the band's coined dream-like, beachy genre, but with a cleaner, more mature sound. It's got a very chilled out vibe, and creates visions of driving or wondering for hours on end. With the repetitive "I might as well be talking backwards/Am I making any sense to you?/The only thing that really matters/Is the one thing I can't seem to do," it's obvious that this will be a another hit for Real Estate.
