Fun Fun Fun Fest 2013 Shows Worth Seeing

Fun Fun Fun Fest is coming up in the second weekend of November (8th, 9th, 10th to be exact), and it's time to start planning out what bands to see. Fun Fun Fun Fest is a music festival hosted in Austin, Texas that is known for its comedy acts, skate park, and killer independent music. The Fest is put on by Transmission Events and this is its eighth year in the running.

Fun Facts about Fun Fun Fun Fest:

They have double stages. Two stages are set up next to each other and called one stage, so that the next band to play can get ready and sound check while the other is still is on stage. It's really cool because it means they can fit more music into a day.

They have Fun Fun Fun Fest Nites. Nites are aftershows at many venues around Austin that are free to anyone who has a wristband. Not to mention they are definitely worth checking out! (some are featured below)

They have a taco cannon. Yes. That's right. A cannon that periodically fires tacos throughout the day right into the crowd. Need I say more?

Featured above is the lineup for 2013. The draw for most this year will be the headliners: M.I.A., MGMT, and Snoop Lion (Snoop Dogg). However, don't skip out the small-print bands! Transmission Events has done a good job this year of booking bands that have recently been receiving a lot of hype, and they will not fail to disappoint.
