Canadian Music Week: Who to see at CMW

Mostly punk and psychedelic stuff because obviously those two are so intertwined.

First of all: CMW, get your shit together, there's too many conflicting shows. But Toronto music festivals is home to me and I'm proud to say this is my first year at CMW. It is really going down this time (I have no idea why it hadn't interest me before).

Our obvious punk favourites FIDLAR, together PANGEA, Twin Peaks, and Toronto's very own METZ are playing CMW more than just once (although not altogether which is a big WTF???), so you should definitely be able to catch all of them if you're in town.

And of course, for all your psychedelic needs, The Jesus and Mary Chain AND Psychedelic Furs are back from the past to take over CMW. Shout out to Bo Ningen for joining in on the fun too.

Here's our schedule wishlist:

I am a strong believer in supporting local music scenes, and although this list is mostly not indeed Canadian as CMW like to call themselves - and also sorry that I'm not affluent in my own local scene to include in the list - plop yourself into any participating venue if you don't enjoy any of these acts although I certainly will. Here's the full CMW schedule for you to check out yourself.

Have fun and be safe, everyone!
